Job descriptionProvide direct and indirect patient care for neonates in Level II and Level III NICU settings. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists in multidisciplinary teams. Participate in teaching and mentoring of junior providers and trainees. Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR. Engage in quality improvement initiatives and research activities. Support community health programs related to neonatal care. Maintain current licensure, board certification, and required credentials. Board Certified Physician Assistant in Neonatology (by time of start) – Required Fellowship training in Neonatology – Required Active Michigan License – Required Active DEA – Required Current ACLS & BLS (through AHA) – Required Relevant neonatal clinical experience – Highly Preferred Competitive salary plus performance incentives Relocation assistance to Grand Rapids or Muskegon, Michigan Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance 403(b) retirement plan with employer contributions and matching Malpractice insurance with tail coverage provided CME funds and licensing support to promote continued education Public Service Loan Forgiveness eligibility Advanced digital tools (Epic, MyChart) facilitating efficient workflow Flexible scheduling with no call requirements Access professional development resources and educational programs offered by different facilities, staying updated with the latest medical practices and guidelines.
