Job Description

Ensign-Bickford Aerospace and Defense Company is seeking talented college students to join our 2026 summer internship program. Our 12-week internship program is designed to provide real-world and hands-on experience in areas that interest you! As an intern, you will collaborate with industry experts to solve real-world challenges and change the way we do business.

Responsibilities :

Interns will have an opportunity to learn and support lean manufacturing standards including process flow, kaizen and Six Sigma techniques. The primary responsibility of this position will be supporting work which will include data collection and interpretation, root cause analysis and corrective action implementation, and process defect identification and reduction.

Requirements :

Qualified candidates will be enrolled in a bachelor's degree program, preferably in Engineering, Operational Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or another related field. Qualified candidates will be self-starters who can work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards for quality and documentation is a must in all internship positions. These positions will require the ability to communicate effectively across a variety of departments.
