Job descriptionBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Quality Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of experience in electrical or electronic assembly manufacturing. Working knowledge of IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC / WHMA-A-620). Familiarity with ISO 9001, PPAP, CAPA, and other core quality tools. Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills. Experience with transformer or PCB assembly environments. ASQ certification (CQE, CQA, etc.) is a plus. You have a general quality background without hands-on electrical or wiring experience.

Overview
We're seeking an Electrical Quality Engineer with strong hands-on experience in electrical assembly, wiring, and harness manufacturing. This role focuses on maintaining and improving product quality in a high-mix electrical assembly environment, ensuring compliance with key industry standards and quality systems.
What You'll Do
- Lead quality initiatives related to wiring, terminations, harnesses, and cabling.
- Inspect and validate electrical assemblies in accordance with IPC-A-610 and IPC / WHMA-A-620 standards.
- Support production and engineering teams with root cause analysis, corrective / preventive actions (CAPA), and continuous improvement.
- Maintain ISO 9001 documentation and contribute to internal audits.
- Apply Quality Engineering tools such as PPAP, 8D problem solving, and risk analysis to drive consistent quality performance.
- Ensure compliance with ESD control requirements under ANSI / ESD S20.20.
