El Concilio is in search of a dedicated candidate to fulfill the position of Disability specalist within our Preschool Department.
Responsibilities within this position include working with ensuring that mental health services are supported by staff or consultants who are licensed or certified mental health professionals with experience and expertise in serving young children and their families.
You will maintain all health records for students and guarantee follow-up services are received in a timely manner. The Disability Specialist will become familiar with the COPA database system used to track health records and other licensing requirements.
This position will maintain communication with parents of students and provide updates regarding students progress. The Disability Specialist will work alongside the Program Director and other upper management as far as conducting reports and providing department updates.
Employment Type : Full-Time; Non-Exempt
Requirements : Background Check, Health Records / Immunizations, Valid Driver's License
Qualifications : B.A in Early Childhood Education or related field with 1-3 years working in a similar capacity is required.
Bilingual - Spanish is highly preferred.
