Job descriptionDesign, install, troubleshoot, and support automation controls systems (PLC / HMI / Servo) Program and modify Siemens TIA Portal , DCS, and other logic-based systems Support new equipment installations, upgrades, and system integrations Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve machine performance and uptime Provide technical leadership , training, and development for maintenance technicians Develop documentation, LOTO procedures, and equipment guides Lead or support plant-wide controls and automation projects from concept to completion Maintain familiarity with the latest controls tech, safety standards, and industry best practices Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred (Electrical or related field) 3-5 years of experience in a controls / automation engineer role Proficient with Siemens TIA Portal and industrial controls software Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, servo systems, drives, and sensor technologies Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and troubleshooting methodology Ability to lead and coach cross-functional technical teams Excellent project management and documentation skills Comfortable supporting 24 / 7 operations as needed (off-hours availability may be required)
