The Children's Revival of Participation at Sunday Mass is an initiative by Saint Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology to help parishes integrate children's leadership and ways of worship into Sunday Mass. Fourteen selected parishes model intergenerational participation, showing how children can be active, valued contributors to the Church's central act of worship.
We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Administrative and Communications Coordinator to support a range of office functions, including administrative tasks, report editing, digital communications, and media production. This role involves regular communication with representatives from partner parishes, as well as direct interaction with children and families across generations.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities :
- Perform general office duties
- Maintain office supplies, inventory, and support day-to-day operational needs
- Record, organize, and update contact information, demographics, financial activity, questionnaire and survey responses, and other data for program operations and evaluation.
- Edit and proofread reports, presentations, and communications for clarity, grammar, and consistency.
- Use various editing applications.
- Assist partner parishes and Program Director in planning travel and other logistics for parish visits, an annual gathering at Saint Meinrad, and other meetings.
- Assist in hosting attendees and facilitating activities at annual gathering and other events
- Assist in hosting videoconference meetings, managing the equipment and software
- Support communications internally, with partner parishes, and public
- Assist in managing social media platforms
- Participate in video recording and production, including planning, filming, and basic editing
What We're Looking For :
Minimum of 4 years experience in administrative support, communications, or a related fieldExperience in digital media, communications, and content creation, including familiarity with social media, graphic design, and video editing tools.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, videoconferencing platforms, and database management.Experience with podcasting and videocasting equipment and streaming software.Strong writing, editing, and verbal communicationStrong interpersonal skills and ability to adapt your approach to different age groupsAbility to work independently and collaboratively
