Responsibilities :
- Provide our guests with an outstanding, memorable dining experience through great customer service and interpersonal skills. This includes greeting all guests as they arrive, taking orders, having knowledge of our food and drink menu in order to offer recommendations and answer questions and always keeping a positive, up-beat demeanor.
- Maintain highest quality standards according to company policies and NYC health and safety regulations.
- Work well in a fast paced environment as a member of a team.
- Communicate effectively with other staff members and guests.
- Proactively communicate with managers to address any potential complaints or negative experiences.
- Maintain a sense of urgency at all times and take initiative.
- Be dedicated to our customers and our brand.
- Inform guests of menu changes and daily specials, and make recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy.
- Explain to guests how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods.
- Prepare tables for meals, including setting up items such as linens, silverware, and glassware.
- Garnish and decorate dishes in preparation for serving.
- Confidently and correctly use POS system for order entry and payment processing.
Qualifications :
3+ years of server experience in an establishment of similar standards.Attentive and proactive.Custom service oriented.Problem solving skills.Responsible, dependable and punctual!Attention to cleanliness and safety.
