Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) FMLA Coverage
Location : Naperville, Illinois
Schedule : Full-Time (37.5 hours / week)
Caseload : Preschool
Assignment Length : August through Thanksgiving Break (potential for extension)
A school district in Naperville, IL is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to provide FMLA coverage beginning in August and running through Thanksgiving break. This position comes with a strong possibility of being extended based on district needs.
The role focuses on a preschool caseload, supporting students in early childhood programs with a variety of communication needs. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, flexible, and passionate about supporting early language development in young learners.
Position Highlights :
Work with preschool-aged students in a supportive school setting
Provide direct therapy, conduct evaluations, and participate in IEP meetings
Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers
Full-time hours : 37.5 hours / week, MondayFriday
Assignment runs from August through Thanksgiving Break, with high likelihood of extension
Qualifications :
Active Illinois SLP-CCC license and Professional Educator's License (PEL)
Prior experience with early childhood populations preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Comfortable working as part of a collaborative team
