Overview
Motion Designer / Editor with Unity experience and B2B experience crafting short-form stories integrating interviews / VO and b-roll with motion graphics.
Term : 3-6 months
Rate : $40-45 / hr
Hours : 9 am – 6 pm ET
Locations : Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Portland, St. Louis .
Responsibilities
- Lead and influence strategic visions to solve internal client challenges with innovative motion graphic solutions.
- Consult with internal clients to produce creative storytelling through design plans, storyboards, concepts, and layouts for motion graphic projects.
- Design and create assets, bring them to life, and deliver high-quality motion graphic content.
- Produce complex animated graphics, infographics, kinetic typography, and pre / post-production video; edit raw footage and enhance motion graphics with added elements.
- Develop project deliverables, specializing in animation, audio, and video; participate in brainstorming sessions to share perspectives and lead motion graphic processes, methods, and techniques.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia / Digital Design or related field or equivalent experience.Digital creative portfolio demonstrating outstanding conceptual thinking and design skills.Five years of related motion design experience.Creative thinker with a range of styles and techniques; proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and basic Microsoft Office; typography and brand color usage with legible design.Creative and technical expertise with Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and other related tools.Proficiency with a variety of third-party motion graphic plugins (Red Giant complete).Experience with Unity or another real-time application; knowledge / experience in 3D modeling / animation (Cinema 4D) preferred.In-depth knowledge / experience of video production techniques; working knowledge of sound mixing and color correction.Strong understanding of post-production workflow and video formats / compression; experience in storyboarding for video and motion graphics.Proven ability to pitch ideas to clients and understand client goals; ability to initiate and lead creative ideation sessions and anticipate internal client needs.Proven project management skills : able to estimate time, track budgets, manage multiple projects, and influence clients and design teams to deliver results on time and within budget.Ability to understand the internal client’s vision through active listening, effective communication, and collaboration with business partners, project owners, managers, and team members.Experience working directly with clients to assess needs and provide creative solutions; experience with stock footage / music libraries; experience collaborating with external agencies for voiceover talent.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills; ability to leverage brand guidelines to develop creative initiatives while following processes.Proficient understanding of copyright regulations.Education : Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia / Digital Design, Web Design, Graphic Design or related field.
