2026 Mechanical / Industrial Engineering Intern

Our interns work directly with division and corporate leadership to complete "real-life"mission critical projects. Last summer, our talented group of interns made invaluable contributions to our business and many of the projects they initiated are in use today. Altium is committed to providing our interns with valuable experience in a fun environment.

As an engineering intern you will be responsible for working on critical projects for the Infrastructure & Reliability Engineering team.

• Engineering load calculations & system design
• Project development, including bid specification preparation
• Maintenance of critical plant equipment databases
• Leading small plant engineering projects and initiatives
• Data acquisition and analysis
• Development of new tools and processes for the Project Execution team
• Plant visits for data collection / project execution
• General support for plant engineering as assigned
• Assisting Project Managers and Project Engineers
