The Role :

The Automation Engineer will lead the execution of technically complex, high-impact automation projects across Keystone's customer accounts. This hands-on role involves designing, assembling, and deploying automation systems, while also managing project scope, timelines, and deliverables. Reporting to the Director of Automation, the Automation Engineer is critical in advancing Keystone's automation capabilities and driving customer success.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead automation projects from concept through delivery, including scope definition, execution, testing, and deployment
• Translate customer needs into project plans and scopes of work
• Design and build automation systems including control panels, sensors, communications, and remote telemetry
• Perform field and shop installations, retrofits, and commissioning
• Maintain documentation for system design, wiring diagrams, vendor specs, and BOMs
• Support cross-functional efforts with Operations, Maintenance, Procurement, and Account Managers
• Drive standardization and innovation across builds and engineering processes
• Provide exceptional customer support and serve as the lead technical resource for assigned projects
