The Senior Security Professional will work under the Director of Industrial Security and / or Senior Manager Security - Federal and provide security administrative support to complex government programs with responsibility from collateral to SCI. The main responsibilities include providing support in areas of Physical, Personnel, Facility and OPSEC for both DoD and SCI programs to ensure the protection of classified information. The Senior Security Professional will assist the Program Security Manager with investigations of incidents, security infractions or violations to reported to the Director of Industrial Security and the customer. They will work closely with the Program Security Manager to ensure all security policies and procedures are documented and all briefed employees are properly trained on program classification policies. The Senior Security Professional will ensure the interpretation of government program classification guides and education is applied as needed to the Government programs. They will pass clearances via DISS / NBIS, Unclassified Fax, or Classified email as needed. They will provide classified Program briefings and FOUO level Annual Security Refresher training as required by the Customer.

The knowledge of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; learning and motivation; psychological research methods; and the assessment and treatment of behavioral and affective disorders (i.e. Insider Threat Program) is required. Relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions are also required. Laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, agency rules, and the democratic political process knowledge is necessary. Understanding the structure and content of the English language is important. Principles and processes for providing customer and personal services are needed. Investigative and analytical techniques, procedures and requirements are also required. Basic qualifications, skills and education include working knowledge of resource material that describes the policies and procedures for the protection of classified information and the ability to overlay those policies to develop a strong security program. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Bachelors degree or applicable years of experience is preferred. Current TS / SSBI.CI Polygraph preferred.
