• Work 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, Monday through Friday from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM
• Participate in weekday and weekend call rotation
• One weeknight on-call shift from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM required
• One weekend day on-call from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM per month required
• Call response time must be within 20 minutes
• One holiday call as needed
• Float to outpatient surgery center as needed
• Work in 1 : 1 ratio in operating room with 14 main OR suites
• Handle average of 28 cases per day with 5 add-on cases including SDS cases
• Work with all surgical cases except open heart procedures (neuro spine, total joints, open fractures, general, ENT)
• Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA)
• 2-3 years of OR experience required along with 2-3 previous travel assignments
• Orthopedic and neurology experience preferred
• Scrubs provided for RNs
• Use Epic EMR system
• 3-shift floor-specific orientation
• No floating required
