This is a 1st shift position with a standard schedule of 5am-3 : 30pm PT, Monday through Friday. The position is structured around a baseline expectation of a 50-hour workweek, which may include occasional overtime as needed to meet operational goals.

About The Team

The Stage Manufacturing team turns design into reality, owning the build of Terran R's primary structures. Engineers and technicians work side by side, with deep collaboration and real-time feedback, to shape how we build better and faster. With a manifest and a launch date, the team delivers on Terran R by solving challenges in real time, optimizing for scale, and continuously improving processes. The vehicle evolves as the factory grows, with opportunities to apply automation, machine learning, and advanced technologies.

About The Role

• Responsible for drilling precision holes, including choosing the right drill motors and drill sizes, on flight hardware using appropriate tooling / jigs or egg cups
• Responsible for assembling hardware using structural adhesives, properly torquing fasteners, installing inserts, or installing hiloks
• Perform in-process inspections using hand tools such as micrometers, calipers, and pin gauges
• Perform blending or deburr operations using appropriate hand or power tools and then protecting hardware with alodine / sealant
• Uphold high Relativity Space standards regarding safety and shop cleanliness
• Foster an inclusive environment for all members of the team

At Relativity Space, compensation is determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors. This role's compensation is a range of $28.90—$37.40 USD per hour.
