Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

\n

\n

The Principal Design Engineer is a technical leader within Avanos’ New Product Development organization, responsible for driving the design and development of innovative medical devices from concept through commercialization. This role combines deep technical expertise, cross-functional leadership, and a strong understanding of design controls, risk management, and human factors to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective products.

The Principal Engineer serves as a subject matter expert and mentor to other engineers, ensure robust design execution consistent with Avanos’ product development process (PDP) and quality process and procedures.

Salary Range : \n

The anticipated average base pay range for this position is $129,000.00 - $151,000.00. In addition, this role is eligible for an attractive incentive compensation program and benefits. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the base posted.
