Travel ICU Nurse Job Details Location : Columbus, Ohio (43210) - Ohio travel nursing jobs Estimated Weekly Pay : $1940 - $1990 Contract Length : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 1 / 2025 - End : 3 / 2 / 2026) Setting : Critical Care Float Pool (Adult ICU units) Shifts : 3x12-hour rotating shifts (Day : 07 : 00-19 : 30 / Night : 19 : 30-07 : 30), primarily PM with potential to rotate to AM in 4-week blocks Hours per Week : 36 Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse Contract Weekend Coverage : Minimum every other weekend ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience in a hospital setting Previous travel nurse experience preferred Active Registered Nurse (RN) license - compact RN license or Ohio RN license required Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record (EHR) system Skills required : IV start, telemetry, ventilator management, arterial line management, central line care, blood product administration, dysrhythmia interpretation, infection prevention, isolation precautions, and advanced ICU procedures Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only) Ability to float to units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed Two professional references required (at least one from a nurse manager, director, or formal leadership role) ICU Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to critically ill adult patients in multiple ICU settings Float between Neuro ICU, Surgical ICU, Medical ICU, Cardiology / Diagnostics, and CVICU based on staffing needs and patient acuity Perform advanced clinical procedures : IV starts, ventilator management, arterial and central line care, telemetry monitoring, blood product administration, and dysrhythmia management Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams Care for patients with complex diagnoses, including post-transplant care (kidney, liver, lung, heart) Follow infection prevention protocols and isolation precautions Document patient care accurately using the EPIC EHR system Participate in weekend coverage as required Apply now to join our healthcare team as a travel ICU Registered Nurse in Columbus, Ohio.
