Accounting Assistant

Accounting Assistant

Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including journal entries and account reconciliations

Apply knowledge of debits and credits to maintain accurate general ledger records

Support tax professionals with preparation of individual and business tax returns

Organize and input client financial data into accounting and tax software

Communicate with clients to collect documentation and clarify financial information

Help maintain compliance with firm procedures and regulatory requirements

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Basic understanding of accounting principles, especially debits and credits

1+ year experience in any sort of accounting

Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks (Bonus)

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00 / hr.
