Scope / Purpose of the Position

The Facilities Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing the building's systems and infrastructure to ensure a safe, efficient, and fully operational environment. This includes routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and emergency response across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems-all while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, cost efficiency, and GMP compliance in a high-speed manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions

Primary Duties

• Perform building maintenance and repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry systems.
• Conduct regular facility inspections to identify and resolve potential issues before they escalate.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal system performance and longevity.
• Respond promptly to work orders, document all repairs, and complete activities through the work order system.
• Act as a point of contact during facility-related emergencies (power outages, alarms, leaks, equipment failures).
• Coordinate and oversee external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and large projects.
• Follow all OSHA, safety, and compliance protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Adhere to Bakerly's Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
