This role presents an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional focusing on diverse projects such as site development, drinking water systems, sanitary sewers, storm sewers, and stormwater management. As a Lead Civil Engineering Project Manager, you will oversee large-scale projects while engaging in various aspects of civil engineering that inspire you. You will be responsible for leading teams, managing designs, and creating essential technical documents like reports, calculations, and construction details.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Lead, manage, and produce high-quality civil engineering designs, including plans, reports, calculations, specifications, estimates, and construction details.
- Prepare site plans, municipal permit packages, and comprehensive construction documents.
- Draft detailed proposals that outline the scope of services along with time and cost estimates for project completion.
- Organize and coordinate design teams, maintain correspondence with clients, and effectively administer construction contracts.
- Demonstrate experience with Planning Board and public presentations, as well as securing necessary regulatory / agency permits and approvals.
- Build and nurture positive, cooperative relationships with clients for long-term success.
- Encourage teamwork by utilizing excellent interpersonal skills and mentoring staff effectively.
- Oversee Quality Assurance and Control review procedures for projects.
- Engage in marketing efforts and facilitate ongoing client maintenance.
- Ensure task management and successful project delivery.
Compensation : The pay range for this position is $85,000 - $120,000 per year, paid weekly, based on experience and qualifications.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.10+ years of progressive technical experience and / or training in related fields.Active New York P.E. license is required.Proficient in Microsoft Office software; knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred.Valid driver's license necessary.EOE, including disability / veterans.
