We're actively seeking dedicated Specialized Support Professionals (ASL Fluent) to join our team. This pivotal role involves providing direct support to adults with developmental / intellectual disabilities who use ASL as their primary means of communication.

What the Role Entails :
- Personal Support : Directly assisting residents with activities of daily living.
- Monitoring & Reporting : Diligently observing and documenting daily activities and tracking specific objectives and progress.
- Structured Engagement : Contributing to and participating in structured daily and weekly activities, both within our facilities and in community settings.
- Guardianship & Liaison : Acting as a vigilant advocate for residents' rights and serving as a critical communication link between residents and other facility staff, often utilizing your ASL skills to bridge communication gaps.
- Environment Maintenance : Ensuring a healthy, clean, and comfortable living environment is maintained for all residents.
- Professional Development : Committing to ongoing professional growth through mandatory monthly meetings and in-service trainings, with opportunities to enhance your ASL and support skills.
What We Require :
ASL Fluency / Capability : Proficiency or high capability in American Sign Language (ASL) is essential for this role. This includes the ability to interpret and communicate effectively with Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals.Core Qualities : A compassionate demeanor, exceptional patience, and the ability to build professional rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.Team-Oriented Mindset : Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration within a diverse team.Commitment to Standards : A professional attitude and appearance are consistently expected.Other Requirements :
Must be at least 21 years of age and legally eligible to work in the U.S.Ability to successfully obtain a fingerprint clearance from Community Care Licensing.Current health screening and TB test (or ability to obtain promptly).Valid State ID.What We Provide :

$45,000 - $80,000 per year
