Qualifications :

Master's Degree in Special Education

Expert IEP writing and mentoring skills

3 years or more classroom experience

Role Overview :

Special Education Teachers are responsible for designing and delivering effective instruction per students' individual learning needs, developing and authoring compliant Individual Education Plans, and providing seamless collaboration with general education, families, paraeducators and other special education providers. This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their development.

Key Responsibilities :

Job Description-Must Have :

Observes students then creates materials and systems around behavior / academic strategies.

Some direct push in support in a building or two

Ability to work with other adults and answer their questions related to academic and behavior support

Rotates buildings daily, schedule will be as follows (8 hours a day, 7.5 paid, .5 unpaid lunch) :

Will be going to a new school everyday.
