A fast-growing fintech company dedicated to helping financial institutions prevent fraud is looking to bring on a Senior Product Counsel that will work closely with the company's security, product, engineering, data, and compliance teams to support fast-paced product development and commercialization, as well as the implementation of scalable privacy, risk management, and other solutions across the wider business.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide proactive and practical legal advice to the product team regarding new and existing products and features with a focus on data privacy, intellectual property, and regulatory matters.
• Develop a strong understanding of the company and its partners' data flows, integrations, and models.
• Assist with the continued improvement of the company's partner and vendor risk management program. Support regulatory and privacy reviews of vendors, partners, and partner products.
• Monitor data protection, privacy, AI, and consumer protection laws including GDPR, GLBA, CCPA, FCRA, and the EU AI Act.
• Provide guidance on the development and use of AI / machine learning technologies, addressing regulatory, intellectual property, consumer protection, and data privacy issues.
• Negotiate and identify issues in complex data agreements.
