Mechanical Supervisor – High-Tech Manufacturing
Location : Davie County, NC
Salary Range : $90,000 – $120,000
Schedule : 1st Shift (Mon–Fri, 8 AM–5 PM) | Future 2nd & 3rd Shift Build-Out

Are you a seasoned Maintenance Manager ready to lead in a fast-paced, KPI-driven environment? We’re seeking a dynamic professional to oversee maintenance operations for a state-of-the-art, highly automated production facility .
About the Role
As Maintenance Manager, you’ll be responsible for planning, scheduling, and executing maintenance programs that keep production running smoothly. You’ll lead a growing team, manage budgets, and implement best practices to ensure equipment reliability and compliance with safety standards. This role requires adaptability, strong leadership, and a passion for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance Planning & Scheduling
Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Schedule activities around production to minimize downtime.
Maintain accurate equipment history and work order records.
Team Leadership & Supervision
Lead, train, and manage technicians and electricians.
Assign tasks and monitor performance.
Ensure compliance with safety and technical standards.
Equipment Reliability & Performance
Monitor and improve machine and utility reliability.
Troubleshoot breakdowns quickly to restore operations.
Collaborate with production teams on recurring issues.
Budgeting & Cost Control
Manage maintenance budgets and spare parts inventory.
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising safety.
Health, Safety & Compliance
Ensure OSHA and environmental compliance.
Implement lockout / tagout and emergency response plans.
Conduct routine safety inspections.
Continuous Improvement
Apply Lean, TPM, or Six Sigma principles to reduce downtime.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Stay current with new maintenance technologies.
Facility & Utility Management
Oversee HVAC, compressed air, water, and power distribution.
Manage building maintenance and general facility upkeep.
Vendor & Contractor Management
Coordinate with contractors for specialized services.
Negotiate service agreements and evaluate vendor performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing.
Experience in wood industry and large-scale production environments a plus.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and facility systems.
Proven ability to manage teams and adapt to change in a fast-paced setting.
