Assignment Type : Travel Nursing

Start Date : December 15, 2025

End Date : March 14, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12-hour day shifts, 48 hours per week, every other weekend

Guaranteed Hours : 48 per week

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2100 - $2250

Emergency Room Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of recent experience as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Prior travel nursing experience required

Clinical expertise in trauma, STEMI, stroke, sepsis, and pediatric emergency care

Associate's degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred

Active New York State RN license

BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross)

Strong collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills

Commitment to quality patient care, reliability, and safety

ER RN Responsibilities

Assess, plan, delegate, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients

Serve as primary nurse and / or accountable nurse as designated

Educate patients and families on health promotion and disease management

Safely administer medications and demonstrate pharmacology knowledge

Support productivity and effective resource utilization in the emergency department

Comply with nursing practice standards, regulatory requirements, and hospital policies

Participate in shared governance, unit council, and quality improvement initiatives

Engage in professional development and continuing education

Integrate nursing research and evidence-based practice

Provide mentorship and a supportive learning environment for new staff and students

Perform Charge Nurse or Shift Coordinator duties when assigned
