PRIMARY ROLE :
The social science curriculum includes the following courses; Introduction to Ethnic Studies, Modern World History, US History, and American Government.
We seek a candidate who can teach a combination of these courses. Teachers in the department are responsible for teaching five sections of classes, and are dynamic, enthusiastic, collaborators who develop curriculum, and learn from one another.
We seek a teacher who has demonstrated the ability to cultivate an inclusive, collaborative, and challenging learning environment that reflects SI's core values and allows our diverse student body to grow and thrive.
A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE IN THIS POSITION WILL BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE :

Strong teaching ability; enjoys working with adolescents.
