ICP Group is looking to identify a Product Safety & Regulatory Affairs Specialist. The PSRA Specialist ensures that all product-related activities (from development to post-commercialization) are conducted in accordance with the current domestic and global regulatory statutes that govern the respective industries for ICP to meet business objectives and goals.

This position is also responsible for establishing uniform compliance standards across the Building Solutions Group business.

Responsibilities :

  • Ensure product compliance across various platforms (industry, state, local, federal, and global governments) to meet business objectives and goals (utilizing subject matter experts and consultants).
  • Lead the development and coordination of a standardized Product Compliance Program across multiple business segments, manufacturing facilities and product lines.
  • Manage product registrations as mandated by regulations and code, including EPA registered products, to ensure compliance with federal, state and manufacturing requirements.
  • Manage and oversee the TDS and SDS portfolios.
  • Manage product credential portfolios.
  • Review all printed materials, including product labels, for compliance with regulatory requirements, OSHA GHS Standards and industry best practices.

Ensure proper imprints, warnings, cautions, pictograms etc. on all product offerings.

  • Communicate existing and emerging government regulations related to our products, markets, and industries.
  • Identify gaps in product testing as related to various certifications and test reports.
  • Manage and oversee 3rdparty testing activities, including sample preparation, maintaining records, and keeping up to date with renewals.
  • Provide technical product compliance support to sales and marketing.
  • Support Customer related (i.e., revenue generating) activities.
  • Support and participate in external industry / government agency (i.e., compliance) activities.
  • Provide occasional assistance to Corporate EHS function.
  • Serve as ICP representative on various industry task forces and work groups.
  • Stop any activities, release of videos, printed material, or electronic communications in cases of non-compliance to product stewardship guidelines, regulatory and code requirements, and lack of data to substantiate claims.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, & Experience :

  • 5-7 year of product compliance, regulatory compliance and / or product stewardship experience.
  • B.S. in Safety, Health, Environment, chemistry, or related field - Preferred
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills (written and oral communication, people management and influencing) with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience in writing and executing policies and procedures
  • Must be able to multi-task effectively, close the loop, and follow specific instruction
  • Excellent organizational / administration skills; high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to exhibit the highest degree of professionalism, good judgment, and positive attitude
  • Demonstrated success in a team environment in achieving high performance and goal objectives
  • Ability to work in chemical manufacturing environment, involving isocyanates, solvents, and other hazardous materials requiring fitness for respirator use and physical ability to handle containers and equipment necessary to perform duties.
  • May be required to travel up to 30% and required to hold / obtain a valid passport.
