The Company is a multi-disciplined leader, manufacturer and distributor of apparel in the Wholesale, Direct to Consumer and Retail channels.
We are seeking an energetic and motivated, results-oriented Sales & Inventory Analyst Retail to help support our growth initiatives and deliver outstanding support to our retail partners.
We are a financially healthy and growing entrepreneurial, vertical apparel manufacturer with an extensive portfolio of products, brands and licenses, selling and distributing to many retail chains and e-commerce platforms.

Responsibilities & Duties
- Assists in the development of the Annual Operating Plan (cost shipments) in partnership with the sales team. Articulation of the rationale and assumptions is essential.
- Support of the inventory planning function, responsible for in-season forecasting and communication of changes.
- Analyzes style selling and develops strategies to optimize inventory levels, maximizing sales for both the retailer(s) and Delta Apparel.
- Evaluates daily replenishment order generation to ensure accurate and timely order generation to satisfy consumer demand.
- Evaluates future demand compared to Delta production schedule, proactively calling out potential service issues. Works with planning team to ensure alignment.
Updates ordering systems with service cancellations.
- Assists in development of accurate financial shipment projections for each retail customer to provide monthly guidance
- Manages weekly & monthly information flow to the retailer. Responsible to update and provide business recaps to the customer and internal teams.
- Ad Hoc analysis, ability to synthesize data and articulate complex findings to a diverse audience.
- Manage communication & relationships with Retail planners and Forecasting team. Collaborates with retail account partners on short term & long term opportunities and planning.
- Must be a creative thinker, fast learner, self-starter, & relationship builder.
- Identify and report on customer / market trends and niches to assist in product development efforts.
- Analyze POS data to create and drive sales and inventory opportunities with retailers and convey complex analytics into actionable tasks.
- Cultivate and foster strong working relationships with retail buyers and replenishment teams.
- Apply financial acumen and analytical skills to build a successful and executable strategy.
Experience
4-6 years experience in Retail, Replenishment, Sales or Inventory Management or Category Management - preferably within apparel, activewear or textiles categories.
Walmart experience is a plus.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong interpersonal, written and presentation skills and an opportunity creator through data analytics.
- A+ level fluency with Excel, Powerpoint and an overall high level of proficiency with all other Microsoft Office applications
- Proven ability to think strategically
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Advanced abilities with RetailLink, SPS Commerce and / or other retailer-specific POS data systems
- Bachelors Degree in Business related field or substantive work experience
- Excellent organizational skills
