What You'll Do :

Manage and litigate a high-volume caseload of personal injury and maritime claims.

Conduct all aspects of litigation, including intake, investigation, pleadings, motions, depositions, and negotiations.

Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings (state and federal).

Apply expertise in the Jones Act, General Maritime Law, and LHWCA.

Collaborate with support staff to develop winning case strategies.

What You'll Bring :

J.D. and Active Louisiana Bar License (in good standing).

5+ years of experience in personal injury litigation.

Demonstrated experience in maritime law (offshore injuries, vessel accidents, longshore claims).

Strong understanding of relevant maritime statutes and procedural rules.

Exceptional legal research, writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills.

Ability to manage a demanding caseload with minimal supervision.

Trial experience is strongly preferred (first-chair or significant second-chair experience is a plus).

Preferred : Trial experience in state and federal courts; experience with wrongful death or catastrophic injury maritime cases; familiarity with Filevine.
