Accounts Receivable Specialist

LaSalle Network is partnering with a growing company in the North Suburbs near Wheeling, IL to find a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their finance team. In this role, you'll take ownership of AR processes, help streamline operations, and support a business experiencing steady growth.

Compensation : $24-26 per hour, depending on experience, skill set, and contract terms.

Accounts Receivable Specialist - Key Responsibilities :

• Manage full-cycle accounts receivable, including applying payments, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate records
• Review and monitor aging reports to ensure timely collections and address past-due accounts
• Partner closely with internal sales and finance teams to resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues
• Investigate and process short pays, deductions, and adjustments
• Conduct credit checks and assist with evaluating customer credit risk
• Support reporting and month-end close processes
