Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking a qualified professional for a contract position in a K-12 educational setting located in Charleston, SC. This role focuses on providing essential munication support one-on-one to students who are Deaf or hard of hearing through the use of sign language.

Key Qualifications :

• 3.5 EIPA score preferred
• Proven experience interpreting in educational settings, particularly with K-12 students
• Strong understanding of various sign language systems and deaf culture
• Ability to work collaboratively with educators, students, and staff
• Excellent munication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to adapt to different classroom environments and styles
