The Foundation Finance Manager manages the financial activities and reporting for the USC Upstate Foundation with oversight from the Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administrative Affairs with a dotted reporting line to the Vice Chancellor of Development and Executive Director of the University Foundation. This position ensures the accuracy of fund balances and timely reporting to campus constituents, division leaders and external users. The Foundation Finance Manager is responsible for monitoring the consistency of data between the development database and the financial system and for the accuracy of scholarship disbursements. Responsible for the University Foundation's grant award management.

Financial Planning and Reporting :

• Manage the foundation's overall budget, including grant budgets and cash flow forecasts.
• Prepare and present financial statements and reports for the Board of Directors.
• Reconciles monthly statements of activity for investments and operating accounts.
• Calculates available endowment pending on an annual basis and analyzes unspent funds.

Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or similar field of study and 3 years of relevant experience or a master's degree and 1 year of relevant experience. A successful background check is required.

Salary : $54,165 – $75,000; Salary commensurate with education and experience.
