Field Service Applications Engineer
Our client, one of the top independent lubricant manufacturing companies in the nation, is seeking an Sales and Service Engineer to provide technical support and strategic guidance to customer, sales teams, and distributors.
Responsibilities :
Develop and manage lubrication programs for customers and distributors.
Select the right lubricants and establish best practices for equipment care.
Run oil analysis programs, inspect equipment, and use data to prevent problems.
Conduct on-site audits, plant surveys, and field trials to recommend solutions.
Train customers and distributors on lubrication principles and product use.
Support sales teams with technical proposals, presentations, and product launches.
Provide technical support during customer visits, events, and sales campaigns.
Work with suppliers, chemists, operations, and marketing to improve products and services.
Use Salesforce CRM daily to track accounts, pipeline, and customer interactions.
Stay current on industry trends, standards, and product specifications
Job Requirements
Requirements :
Bachelor"s degree in engineering, industrial technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2-5 years of experience in industrial or lubricant applications (rotating equipment, hydraulics, gearboxes).
At least one lubrication certification : STLE CLS, OMA, MLT-1, or MLA-1.
Strong knowledge of lubricants, their applications, and industry standards.
Experience in customer-facing technical or sales roles.
Excellent commonication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to analyze technical data and solve lubrication problems.
Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office.
Willingness to travel about 50% of the time.
