What You’ll Do :
- Represent employees in employment matters including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour violations.
- Draft and review legal correspondence and documents with the support of a collaborative team.
- Take ownership of cases from start to finish , lead pre-litigation negotiations and mediations, discovery, including taking and defending depositions, draft and argue law and motion matters.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and internal staff.
- Manage Pre-litigation staff, oversee workflows and performance metrics of paralegals while focusing on high-impact legal work.
- Help scale our employment law practice to meet increasing demand.
- Advocate fiercely for clients who have been wronged in the workplace.
What We’re Looking For :
Minimum 3-5 years (5 years preferred) of experience practicing employment law (plaintiff or defense side).Proven ability to manage cases independently from intake through settlement.Strong skills in negotiation, strategy, communication, time management, delegationExperience handling all aspects of discovery, including taking and defending depositions.Proficiency in drafting and arguing law and motion matters.A collaborative spirit with a drive to be better every day with a strong work ethic and desire to grow while focused on hitting goals.Licensed and in good standing with the California Bar.Why Join Us?
