Job Title : Experienced Accounting Associate

Position Summary : We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Associate. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounts payable and bookkeeping, with a keen ability to manage financial documentation and support our accounting functions. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities :

• Process accounts payable transactions, including invoice verification, approval, and payment processing.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions and assist with bookkeeping tasks.
• Prepare and reconcile balance sheets and general ledger accounts as needed.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, including income statements and trial balances.
• Support preparing annual compliance reports, such as 1099s and other applicable tax documents.
• Monitor and maintain financial accounts, ensuring compliance and resolving discrepancies.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance accounting systems and procedures.
• Respond promptly to inquiries from vendors and clients regarding financial transactions and accounts.
• Ensure the accuracy of financial documents and adherence to legal and company policies.
• Support monthly payroll and maintain organized records.
• Record and reconcile bank statements.
• Provide administrative assistance to the finance department.
• Undertake general administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and correspondence related to financial operations.

Qualifications :

$60,000 - $80,000 a year

The annual salary target for this job in this market is $60,000 - $80,000. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the market demand, education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
