Position Overview : We're currently seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for a full-time position to join our team in Richardson, Texas.
The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of child development, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to enhancing the academic, social, and emotional well-being of our students.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' strengths, challenges, and learning needs.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement effective interventions and support plans.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to address academic, social, and emotional concerns among students.
- Serve as a valuable resource for teachers and staff regarding student behavior, mental health, and effective learning strategies.
- Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and develop tailored interventions.
- Stay updated on current best practices in school psychology and engage in ongoing professional development activities as required.
Qualifications :
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Valid Texas Professional License in School Psychology.
- Previous experience in a full-time school psychologist role is preferred.
- Proficiency in utilizing psychological assessment tools and methodologies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Uphold a commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards in all professional interactions.
