Partner with Payroll Manager to oversee & process bi-weekly, multi-state payroll.Maintain employee data within HRIS & payroll system.Audit records for accuracy, process pay changes, job transfers, and terminations.Support internal payroll controls and audits to ensure compliance with federal, state, & local regulations.Prepare and analyze payroll, tax, and labor reportsProvide insights to management regarding trends, discrepancies, and process improvements.Process benefit deductions and assist with leave-related pay calculations, including FMLA, PTO, and disability pay integration.Serve as acting lead in the Payroll Manager's absence, ensuring continuity of payroll operations and communication across departments.Other task and duties as assignedAs the ideal candidate, your background includes :
Bring your high energy and positive attitude to contribute to an awesome atmosphere!Bachelor's degree in business, HR, or Accounting preferred; CPP certification plus.Present a positive and professional image, supporting a strong customer service orientation.3-5 years of progressive payroll or HR experience, with multi-state payroll strongly preferredAdvanced understanding of FLSA, payroll tax laws, and wage / hour compliance.Experience using HRIS or payroll systems such as Paylocity, Paycom, or ADP.Strong administrative and organizational skills with excellence in time management.Strong analytical, auditing, and problem-solving skills.Solid Computer skills, including working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel) requiredBilingual preferred but not required.Bryten complies with federal and state disability laws and makes reasonable accommodations for applicants and employees with disabilities.
