Senior Financial Analyst

The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the financial outcomes are exceeded through analyzing financial data and proactively provide solutions and recommendations for improvements to the assigned business unit. This role will also create and provide metrics / tools to evaluate all financial outcomes at each stage. Problem seeking will be essential to analyze variances and provide feedback to move overall results quicker. Working alongside the corporate accounting team to provide seamless reporting, results and streamline communication. Flexibility and a willingness to work under last minute requests and deadlines will be very important in this role.

Key Responsibilities

1. Overall analysis and reporting of the business units financials, flash reports and find variances, then report on findings

2. Provide reporting for client meetings as needed

3. Seek out problem areas and provide insight and reporting back on improvements

4. Create along with IT and manage dashboard and tools for financial data readily available for operations team to operate at a high level

5. Trouble-shoot financial variances as needed

6. Manage and create all new business proformas, report back on variances to actual plan

7. Assist in budget process, forecasting and accruals for clients

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

1. Strong proficiency with electronic communication and Microsoft Office Suite required.

2. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, preferred.

3. 5 + years in financial analyst experience

4. Expertise with Workday Adaptive for financial reporting and analysis

5. Experience with Sage 300 GL system or similar ERP platform

6. M&A integration experience, particularly in consolidating financial operations
