Pelican Ice is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to join our growing finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely collection of payments, and maintaining healthy customer relationships. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, payment tracking, and collections.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to facilitate timely payment and resolve any billing issues.
- Prepare and maintain accurate accounts receivable reports and metrics.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure customer accounts are up-to-date and accurate.
- Implement and enforce best practices for credit control and risk assessment.
- Manage a small team, providing training and support to staff as needed.
- Work closely with the accounting team to align on financial reporting and audits.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or related finance roles.Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.Proficiency in accounting software as MS Excel and Quick Books a plusExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with customers and team members.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Leadership experience is preferredBenefits
