Responsibilities

  • Handle calls on demand and interpret conversations between Krio and English speakers
  • Render correct concepts and meanings according to established interpretation protocol
  • Speak clearly in both languages with proper pronunciation and enunciation
  • Maintain professionalism and remain calm during interpreting sessions
  • Follow client instructions and demonstrate cultural sensitivity

    • Qualifications

  • Fluency in Krio and English with cultural competency
  • Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills
  • Education or work experience in language-related fields preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
  • High school diploma or equivalent

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to read and write the requested languages
  • Experience in teaching, language assessment, translation, or interpretation
  • Adaptability to new technology enhancements
  • Dedicated mobile phone for business purposes
  • High-speed internet connection
