Consumer Sales Representative
The primary components of this position are following up on loan approvals and opening deposit accounts originated through the online portal. The Consumer Sales Representative (CSR) will follow up on all loans originated through the Consumer Sales team, Contact Center and online application portal. The CSR will thoroughly review the members credit history to identify the financial needs of each member and recommend an appropriate credit union solution. This position will follow up on newly originated loans and solicit new business from potential, new, and seasoned members by offering relevant loan and deposit products, as well as other products and services specifically selected to help meet the members financial goals. The CSR must have extensive knowledge of policies and procedures related to loan products, deposit products, and various credit union services.

Provide exceptional member service to every member, every time by delivering consistently high-quality service to both internal and external members that is in alignment with our values.
Follow up on all loan approvals through the online portal, approved Contact Center applications, and the Consumer Sales team.
Relay and discuss underwriting decisions with the applicant including terms, pricing, collateral value, credit history, and denial reasons if applicable.
Knowledge of and ability to process loan documents as needed. This includes preparing documents for closing, funding loans and booking loans into the core system.
Responsible for cross-selling financial products and services appropriate to each member's personal financial needs, including-but not limited to, GAP coverage, Depreciation Protection, extended warranty coverage, and debt protection. Process products by issuing contracts and / or cancellations as necessary.
Open various deposit accounts as a result of cross-selling.
Compile required information for completion of loans through member interviews, credit union records, credit reports and other sources as necessary.
Read and interpret credit reports and explain information to members and team members as needed.
Interact with members and team members via telephone, e-mail, fax, textingSMS, or mail to obtain documentation, stipulations and / or additional information needed to complete loandeposit requests.
Ensure loan stipulations made by the underwriter are met and follow up with members.
