What You'll Do

Engineer Operational Excellence : Strengthen the technical backbone of the organization by aligning engineering workflows with business strategy. Standardize QA / QC procedures, unify CAD / BIM standards across all project types, and implement scalable systems that enhance coordination between civil, structural, and environmental disciplines. Leverage technology to improve design accuracy, reduce rework, and ensure field-to-office collaboration is seamless and data-driven. Actively participate in weekly leadership meetings focused on priorities, accountability, and problem solving, reinforcing transparency, execution, and continuous improvement.

Reimagine Operations : Streamline workflows, optimize resource planning, and lead the charge in digital transformation introducing automation, data-driven decision-making, and cutting-edge tools that elevate performance.

Ignite Innovation : Spearhead the adoption of AI for design automation, smarter reporting, and operational efficiency. Your ideas will shape how we work lead the industry.

Drive Strategic Execution : Partner with the President to implement scalable processes that align with company goals and elevate our standards of excellence.

Lead with Impact : Oversee all project delivery operations, managing a talented team of Project Managers, Engineers, Designers, and Drafters to ensure seamless execution from concept to completion.

Build for Growth : Champion our vision by translating leaderships strategic direction into actionable initiatives that strengthen both culture and performance. Ensure the firm's defined culture rooted in accountability, collaboration, and innovation is intentionally cultivated at every level.

Proactively identify and present new ideas to executive leadership that advance organizational growth, employee engagement, and operational excellence, then lead their translation into measurable results through disciplined implementation and follow-through.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain full operational oversight of all projects, supporting design teams and navigating municipal development processes.
• Ensure accurate budgeting and scheduling using project management software.
• Monitor staff performance and billable goals via Factor or other internal systems.
• Collaborate with local authorities, regulatory agencies, and contractors during design and construction phases.
• Prepare engineering estimates, develop project scopes, and draft proposals for new business.
• Oversee timely and accurate invoicing and maintain strong client relationships.
