Cogeneration Field Service Technician

Description

Kinsley Energy Systems, a full-service onsite energy solutions provider, is seeking a Field Service Technician. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for the commissioning and maintenance of cogeneration and battery backup storage. The ideal candidate will be a professional with experience in internal combustion engine and / or generator service, maintenance, repair, and overhaul.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities :

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair tasks on cogeneration and battery storage systems at customer sites.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and longevity.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to provide feedback on system performance and reliability.
• Maintain accurate records of service activities, including maintenance logs, service reports, and inventory.
• Provide training and support to customers on system operations and maintenance best practices.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and others.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in cogeneration and battery storage technology.
• Maintain inventories of parts and consumables to ensure minimal equipment downtime
• Safely operate and maintain a company-owned commercial vehicle
• Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to 24-hour emergency calls for repairs and service
• Other duties as assigned
