Behavioral Health Therapist I

Inova Loudoun Hospital is looking for a dedicated Behavioral Health Therapist 1 to join the team. This role will be PRN (as needed)

Behavioral Health Therapist I Job Responsibilities :

• Provides a range of mental health and / or substance use disorders therapeutic interventions, psycho-educational programming and behavioral interventions (when indicated) to assist the patient / family in achieving the goals and objectives of the individualized service plan.
• May participate in inpatient and community psychoeducational programs, facilitate support groups for specified disease processes related to mental health, medical diagnosis, chronic or life-limited illnesses while assisting with community outreach.
• Duties will be performed under the clinical supervision of an approved clinical supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications :

Licensure : Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP), or Licensed Substance Abuse Professional (LSATP) within 5 years. Must comply with the appropriate licensing board requirement for registering as a Resident in Training or Supervisee in Clinical Social Work or applicable title identified by the specific licensing board within 4 months of hire.
