Job Overview :

As the Regional Director you will partner with the VP of HOA Operations to lead, mentor and guide talented and dedicated on site teams to ensure properties are maintained and operated according to the Board and community’s objectives.

The ideal candidate will have prior HOA and leadership experience.

Compensation : $85k annually

FirstService Residential will compensate the successful candidate in accordance with the posted range. The salary or wage paid to the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience, education, and specific job responsibilities. For positions designated at a client's property, the salary or wage will also be premised upon the client's directive. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Your Responsibilities :

  • Lead, develop, coach, and guide Community Managers, General Managers, Building Engineers, and on-call teams.
  • Oversee and manage your own portfolio of communities, ensuring operational excellence, financial health, and resident satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with board members through regular communication and engagement.
  • Collaborate with support staff and Community Managers to ensure exceptional service delivery and adherence to company standards.
  • Attend Board meetings and provide strategic input and guidance alongside Community Managers.
  • Review and provide feedback on board packets, meeting minutes, notices, mailings, and other community communications.
  • Provide expert support and recommendations related to association financials, budgets, and forecasting.
  • Handle escalated homeowner or board concerns with professionalism and effective problem-solving.
  • Conduct regular property visits to assess performance, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
  • Manage and monitor communities on the watch list, implementing corrective action plans as needed.
  • Partner with internal teams to recruit, onboard, train, and develop associates for long-term success.
  • Participate in developer transition meetings and support transition-related tasks for new communities.
  • Support and collaborate with business development efforts to attract and secure new management opportunities.

  • Adaptable, with the ability to adjust to shifting priorities and demands
  • Education and Experience :

  • 5+ years of successful Homeowner Association property management experience (required)
  • Prior supervisory and team leadership experience (required)
  • Proficient with MS Office suite
  • Physical Requirements :

  • Sit at a desk using a computer in an office setting.
  • Walk and move throughout the community common areas and facilities.
  • Sit and stand for moderate periods of time.
  • Supervisory Responsibility : Yes

    Work Location : Scottsdale Corporate Office; 9000 E Pima Center Pkwy Scottsdale, AZ 85258; Other various work locations to include on site communities

    Work Hours : Monday – Friday, 8 hours per day with some evenings and weekends as needed to attend board meetings and community events.

    Travel Requirements : Some local travel to high rise communities with use of personal vehicle.
