Senior Controls Engineer

Salary : $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Design and program PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems tailored to specific industry needs.
- Lead the completion of projects from the conceptual design stage through to final field commissioning.
- Supervise the assembly of control panels ensuring compliance with NEC and UL508A standards.
- Facilitate project management, maintaining active engagement with customers to manage expectations and project deliverables.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting during system commissioning, both onsite and remotely.
- Develop and implement innovative solutions to enhance system functionality and reliability.
Minimum Position Qualifications :
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.3-10 years of related experience in controls engineering.Proficient in designing and programming using PLCs like Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Mitsubishi.Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong time management skills.Adept in managing multiple project timelines and technical challenges efficiently.Willingness to travel locally up to 20% for project needs.Preferred Qualifications :
Advanced knowledge and experience with software applications such as Visual Basic, C#, Python, and SQL Server.Experience in leading a team of engineers and technicians through complex projects.Prior experience in industries like automotive or material handling is highly desirable.Professional certifications related to control system engineering.Strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills.Skills :
