Facility Inpatient Coder

Overview

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Facility Inpatient Coder for an innovative health-tech company focused on transforming the medical coding industry. This is a full-time remote position.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records and physician documentation to assign accurate facility inpatient codes
• Ensure coding quality and productivity standards are met
• Collaborate with coding team to improve coding outcomes
• Correct codes as needed to maintain compliance and accuracy
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
• Support continuous improvement of coding processes and workflows
