Job Title : Sr. Associate - Building Enclosures Location : Seattle, WA (hybrid) Duration : Direct Hire / Permanent Pay Range : $140,000 - $155,000 Job Summary : Seeking an experienced building enclosure specialist to lead technical evaluations, forensic investigations, and enclosure consulting across diverse project types. This role offers high-impact client work, autonomy, and the opportunity to guide durable, high-performance building solutions. Key Responsibilities Conduct building envelope assessments during design, construction, and post-occupancy. Review drawings and specifications to provide practical, constructable enclosure recommendations. Lead forensic investigations, including diagnostics, field testing, and intrusive exams. Perform evaluations of existing buildings and new construction. Collaborate with clients and internal teams; deliver clear, accurate technical reports. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field; PE, SE, or RA required. 15+ years of industry experience, including 10+ years focused on building enclosures. Strong understanding of construction processes, building materials, and enclosure systems. Experience with construction administration and field evaluation. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Box preferred. Physical & Field Requirements Ability to navigate active construction sites, climb ladders, and work in outdoor or unconditioned environments. Must be comfortable on a suspended scaffolding. Visual acuity for reading drawings and technical documents. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Field work : approximately 25–50%, including some travel.
