Position Announcement : Instructional Specialist
Northeastern Junior College invites qualified persons to apply for the Math Instructional Specialist position. Responsibilities of this position are to provide academic support in both general education math classes and Career and Technical Education (CTE) math classes (and other classes as appropriate); tutor students in learning study skills; and teach courses as needed. This position is partially funded by the TRIO Student Support Services grant focused on serving first generation, low-income or disabled students, in addition to working with students who are not grant participants. The math instructional specialist creates a positive and active learning environment for students.

This is an exempt, nine-month professional position at 0.68 FTE (176 days or 1,414 hours), beginning in August 2025. The salary range for this position is $35,000 to $39,000, commensurate with education and experience.
This is a grant funded position which may not be continued when grant funding expires.
