Compensation : $61,000 - $66,000 / year

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Public Relations Associate to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping the public image of our organization and help facilitate effective communication with various stakeholders. Your creativity and strategic thinking will be essential as you develop compelling press materials and engage with media representatives to enhance our brand visibility.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Develop and distribute press releases to relevant media outlets.
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of PR campaigns and strategies.
  • Monitor media coverage and compile reports on PR effectiveness and public perception.
  • Build and maintain relationships with reporters and journalists in the industry.
  • Coordinate and organize press events, including product launches and media briefings.
  • Draft materials such as articles, newsletters, and other promotional content.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in public relations or a related field, preferably through internships or entry-level roles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and their role in PR campaigns.
