We opened Succulent in 2019 to create the kind of café we felt was missing—one that combines Midwest hospitality with California soul. A place where everyone feels welcome, whether you're a coffee nerd or just here for the good vibes.
Today, Succulent lives in Huntington Beach, California—our roastery, café, and creative hub.
We roast all of our coffee in-house. We make our syrups from scratch. We bake our pastries fresh each day and prepare our food in our scratch kitchen with simple, honest ingredients—free-range eggs, locally sourced artisan bread, and whole foods you can pronounce.

Key Responsibilities :
Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.Prepare food for service.Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.Answer, report, and follow kitchen manager or GM's instructions.Clean up station and take care of leftover food.Ensure food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion.Comply with safety standards.Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests.Skills & Abilities :
Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.Excellent knife skills and attention to detail.Time management and multitasking skills in a high-pressure environment.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Willingness to learn and take direction from kitchen leadership.Qualifications :
1+ years of experience in a kitchen roleStrong knowledge of kitchen equipment, food safety standards, and cooking techniquesExcellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skillsAbility to lead by example and motivate a team under pressureServSafe certification or equivalent (preferred)Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysWhat We Offer :
